Golden Days Chairman Zu Mingjun Attends the 2023 ASEAN Summit Series Events

From September 2 to September 7, 2023, Zu Mingjun, Chairman of Golden Days International, attended the 43rd ASEAN Summit and the East Asia Cooperation Leaders’ Series of Meetings in Jakarta, Indonesia, at the invitation of the ASEAN Business and Investment Summit Organizing Committee. Zu Mingjun, alongside a delegation from Golden Days International, engaged in discussions with ASEAN leaders and distinguished entrepreneurs to explore new development opportunities for the region.

The theme of the 2023 ASEAN Business and Investment Summit was "ASEAN Centrality: Moving Toward Greater Inclusive Innovation." In his speech at the ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (ABIS), Indonesian President Joko Widodo highlighted that ASEAN’s economic growth in 2024 is expected to be the highest globally, at 4.5%. He emphasized that ASEAN is one of the most attractive regions for foreign direct investment (FDI) and called for the summit to be a bridge for communication, creating a mutually beneficial ecosystem to enhance ASEAN’s competitiveness and welfare.

During the Health ASEAN Community Special Session on September 3, Indonesian Minister of Health Budi Sadikin delivered a keynote speech on human health. Golden Days International, alongside renowned global pharmaceutical and medical enterprises such as PT Kalbe Farma Tbk, Aspen Medical, the Global Vaccine Alliance, and the China Pharmaceutical Health Products Importers and Exporters Association, participated in the health forum where Golden Days’ Snow Lotus Nourishing Pads and its technology were widely discussed.

On the evening of September 5, Premier Li Qiang of the State Council attended the China-Indonesia Business Dinner in Jakarta and delivered a speech. The dinner was also attended by Luhut Pandjaitan, Indonesia’s Coordinator for China Cooperation, and around 200 business leaders from both countries. Zu Mingjun, Chairman of Golden Days International, was invited to the dinner and listened to Premier Li's remarks.

On September 7, Premier Li Qiang also participated in the 18th East Asia Summit in Jakarta, where he reaffirmed China's commitment to an open foreign policy and its continued support for sharing development opportunities with other nations. Chairman Zu Mingjun participated in several forums at the ASEAN Summit, engaging in open and friendly discussions with Indonesian businesses. During the summit, Golden Days International's Snow Lotus Nourishing Pads received considerable interest from numerous Indonesian enterprises.
