Golden Days Chairman Zu Mingjun Reappointed as Director of China’s High-End Think Tank
On March 16, 2024, the National High-End Think Tank (China Center for International Economic Exchanges) held its membership reshuffle conference and the first meeting of the third council in Beijing. Zeng Peiyan, former member of the Central Politburo, former Vice Premier of the State Council, and founder of the National Economic Research Center, attended and delivered a speech.
Zu Mingjun, Chairman of Golden Days International, attended the conference alongside 202 political and business leaders, experts, and scholars from various sectors, including Ning Jizhe, former Vice Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), Bi Jingquan, former Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the State Administration for Market Regulation, Wang Yiming, former Deputy Director of the Development Research Center of the State Council, and leaders from industries like aviation, medical, finance, and energy. During the meeting, Zu Mingjun was unanimously reappointed as a director of the China Center for International Economic Exchanges (CCIEE).
Founded in 2009 and supervised by the NDRC, the China Center for International Economic Exchanges (CCIEE) is a government-approved think tank focused on international economic research, exchange, and consulting services. The council members consist of senior government officials, renowned experts, and entrepreneurs who have made significant contributions to economic innovation, aiming to provide strategic advice for China's economic policy formulation and decision-making.
The conference was chaired by Ning Jizhe, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and Vice Chairman of the CCIEE. The Executive Deputy Director, Zhang Xiaoqiang, presented a work report summarizing the achievements of the CCIEE’s second council (2014-2024) and outlined future plans for the next decade. Over the past decade, under the guidance of the NDRC, the CCIEE has supported major national decisions and provided intellectual support to central government policies.
Zu Mingjun’s reappointment as a director of the CCIEE is a high recognition of Golden Days International’s contributions to the national economy.
